Welcome to LMG Clinical Trials

LMG Clinical Trials is a multispecialty integrated clinical research organization operating multiple sites committed to excellence in clinical research. We bring state of the art clinical studies to community practices and their patients while helping them execute them to the highest standards of quality. We are located in Northern Virginia and work closely with committed physician group practices distributed over all of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Culpepper, Charles and Stafford Counties and the DMV area.

LMG Clinical Trials is driven by Loudoun Medical Group's Clinical Research Team under the leadership of LMG's Board of Directors, LMG's Medical Director, LMG's CEO & the Director of Clinical Research. LMG envisions the Clinical Research Initiative as a dynamic and thriving integration of cutting edge state of the art clinical research with in-the-trenches grass roots community practice.

In the words of LMG's Director of Clinical Research, Dr Ravi Iyer:

“Every physician doing either Primary practice or working as a Specialist would love to be able to offer his own patients the access to the latest care options and cutting edge science that, in the past, was only available at tertiary care or academic centers. But in reality there is no mechanism in place for this. Not only does the average patient have to go to far-flung academic centers for such access, the average physician practicing in the community is also poorly equipped to execute a state of the art clinical trial with the rigor that it demands. This is where LMG Clinical Trials Initiative comes in. Together with advanced Data mining and Data Analytics tools and our partnership with leaders in the clinical trial industry, we give our physician practices the resources to offer state of the art scientific trials to their patients and enable them to execute it. This gives the patients in the community the chance to be involved in potential new treatments and interventions right at their doorstep, in a manner that helps us better understand and treat their disease. This in turn not only helps them but helps all of society as well."

LMG's network of 150 physician practices treat a wide spectrum of diseases, including metabolic & endocrine disorders, vascular disease, hypertension and cardiac conditions, digestive diseases, pulmonary and critical care conditions, musculoskeletal and orthopedic/arthritic disorders, women’s health and gynecology, and rheumatologic disorders. Their focus is on trials that are designed to improve both existing treatments as well as identify new treatments that target these disorders in novel enhanced ways.
